I am still awaiting refund of 'complimentary' car wash charge added to my bill for about $18, now on day 4. I have asked twice for it to be credited back to my credit card and told it would be done asap. And rubbing this in my face, this is your second request for a review! ... here it is. I should have sat down and read everything before I paid and left, but if this is typical customer service or practice, BUYER BEWARE!
Yes, we did bill you for a car wash in error. When servicing your vehicle we did perform a complimentary car wash. In our software we have to remember to zero the price, I neglected to do this. For that I am sorry. We do not keep credit card numbers on file, for many reasons, one of course is for your own security, the other is our credit card provider does not allow us to key in credit card numbers, once again for your own security. Since we do not have your credit card number we could not issue a credit on your credit card, so on Monday when you made us aware of this error, I immediately prepared and mailed you a cheque for 19.81, tax included. I suspect you received it in todays mail. Since you called today wanting a credit card credit, Ben called our credit card provider and pleaded with them to allow us to key the credit card number you provided, into the credit card terminal so we could issue the credit. So now you have a credit on your credit card and a cheque that was mailed to you. If a merchant has access to your credit card number, Buyer beware for sure. As a human, unfortunatly we do make mistakes, once again I apologize.
